The following are testimonials kindly written by school leaders and staff with whom Sue has worked.
Sue Stamp, Headetacher, Long Crendon School, Bucks
Our INSET Day with Sue Webb was really inspirational and I highly recommend her training. As a result of the day, all our staff were fired up with enthusiasm to relaunch our Values. The children have already discussed Key Values and with their help we are in the process of planning a community Values Day. Sue is so well informed and she tailored the content of the day to make it really appropriate and relevant for our school.
Simon Poote, Early Years Leader, Long Crendon School, Bucks
Thank you Sue for the insightful and relevant VbE training you delivered last week. Your passion and enthusiasm for values-based learning was motivating and the way you tailored the day to our school's specific requirements was exactly what was needed. I felt that as a staff, we were given opportunities to self-reflect and move forwards in our journey for deepening the values culture in our school. Feedback from all involved was positive, generating discussion that has led to some exciting changes in our school development. Thank you again for a wonderful day.
Coral Snowden: Principal, Western House Academy, Slough, Berkshire
Sue has worked with Western House Academy school community for over 2 years now. She has delivered INSETS to all staff on Emotion Coaching and Values-based Education. The Emotion Coaching made a big difference to how staff approach and deal with children who are in 'crisis' and making poor choices. The Values inset revisited why as a school we have a values based approach and ignited staff to think 'beyond the obvious' and how values can be incorporated in all school life. We are now a VbE Quality Mark School! Sue also held some training sessions with the newly formed Senior Leadership Team. She was able to offer coaching and support on establishing goals and priorities. I would highly recommend working with Sue as she has a wealth of knowledge and experience in many areas of education. She is supportive and, by using her coaching skills, she encourages the people she is working with to achieve their goals and aspirations.
Sarah Pearce: Deputy Principal, Western House Academy, Slough, Berkshire
Sue really supported us through the journey to becoming a Values-based school. She was inspirational. Sue was particularly inspirational during training sessions, always understanding her audience and ensuring that the importance of Values-based Education was shared in a way that engaged everyone. It was a real pleasure working with her and we now feel excited for what the future holds for us (pupils, colleagues and parents) now that we have been successful.
Darrell Butler: Headteacher, John Locke Academy, Uxbridge, Middlesex
John Locke Academy was recently awarded outstanding in all areas. The inspector commented particularly on high standards of learning and our values-based ethos. Our work with Sue has been instrumental in the academy's development. Her empathetic coaching has helped us look closely at effective learning. Her passion for a values driven curriculum has helped shape our ethos and vision. JLA has benefitted immensely from her expertise and support.
Sophie Murphy: Teacher, John Locke Academy, Uxbridge, Middlesex
I would highly recommend working with Sue as she provided protected time for me to reflect on my own individual teaching practice, which in turn impacted heavily on the way I approached lesson planning. She introduced aspects of Growth Mindset to us as a school and it has had a hugely positive effect on the way the children approach and reflect on their individual learning journeys. I am grateful to have access to her wealth of knowledge and experience regarding values based education.
Hannah Wilson: Headteacher, Aureus School, Didcot, Oxfordshire
Sue ran led our new staff induction training at Aureus School to scope our values. As a values-led school we are excited to be starting our values based education journey in September when we open with our new staff and our new students. The feedback from staff was very positive about our co-designed culture and crowd-sourced community values. This work was fundamental in framing our actions and decisions as a school in our first year. Sue is a fantastic trainer – she reads the room well, is emotionally intelligent and reflective. We are looking forward to working with her again soon.
Sarah Phillips: Headteacher, Loddon Primary School, Reading, Berkshire
As a leader of Values-based Education Sue is an authentic and optimistic professional; she is able to communicate and engage adults and children at all levels and inspire them to positive outcomes. As a skilled coach Sue uses insightful questioning to cut through the more difficult challenges we meet as both leaders and educators. This is a time of particularly rapid change, due to expansion, at our school and Sue has played a significant role, through her coaching of both individuals and groups, in clarifying our vision and identifying the values based actions we might take towards our future success. Her coaching sessions provide a calm oasis of thinking time during projects which are otherwise often fast paced and demanding. I would recommend her to any individual or school looking to further their Values-based Education work or to clarify their strategic direction through the invaluable tool of professional coaching.
Charlotte Caunce: Values Leader, Moor Nook Primary School, Preston, Lancashire
Sue's training made a huge difference to our school, it enabled staff to understand the positive imact of value based education and empowered staff to move forward with this. I would highly recommend schools to work with Sue as Values-based Education makes a huge difference to the school community.
Gurinder Saini: Teacher, Western House Academy, Slough, Berkshire
The training that Sue delivered to school staff was fantastic. We had opportunities to share, discuss and develop our own projects with Sue providing us each with an individualised plan. I would highly recommend working with Sue as she is brilliant to work with and has a wide depth of knowledge and skills that she is always willing to share.
